1. Before Using LPG Cylinder
• Always check manufacturing date and expiry (test date).
• Make sure the cylinder is upright and placed on a stable surface.
• Keep the cylinder in a well-ventilated area.
• Check for leakage using soap water, NOT fire.
• Ensure the regulator and pipe are in good condition.
2. During Use
• Never leave gas cooking unattended.
• Keep children away from the stove.
• Turn off the knob first, then the regulator, after cooking.
• Keep flammable items (kerosene, petrol, paper, cloth) away from the stove.
• Maintain a safe distance between cylinder and stove (minimum 1 meter if possible).
3. If You Smell Gas Leakage
DO:
• Switch off the regulator immediately.
• Open all doors and windows for ventilation.
• Check pipe and regulator using soap water.
DON’T:
• Do NOT switch ON or OFF any electrical appliances.
• Do NOT use mobile phones near the cylinder.
• Do NOT light a match or candle.
• Do NOT panic—move calmly.
4. Maintenance Awareness
• Replace the rubber pipe every 2 years (or sooner if damaged).
• Schedule regular inspections by certified gas personnel.
• Use only approved regulators, pipes, and stoves.
• Keep fire extinguishers (ABC type) nearby.
